This may explain why she writes dark sci-fi comedies and why she is eating a donut as she writes this. Andy studied writing and film at Vancouver Film School, Writing for TV at UCLA’s Professional Program, Film Production at UCLA’s Summer Program, and studied improv and sketch with The Second City Conservatory, UCB, and The Groundlings. She has performed at Canada’s Just For Laughs Festival and won a Telus Storyhive grant to produce and direct her short film Married & Isolated, as well as the pilot of her web series See Through Daddy. He started making movies when he picked up a video camera at just 7 years old, and he hasn’t stopped ever since. David attended film school at Columbia College Chicago and majored in Directing. For his final semester, he was chosen out of a large pool of applicants to attend the Semester in LA Program. Studying on the CBS Radford Lot, he honed his craft and got a job in the mail room. This eventually led to a writer’s assistant position on the WB sitcom, “The Help,” working directly for the show’s creator, Ron Leavitt, who also created “Married with Children” and “Unhappily Ever After.” David went on to write and direct several short films that premiered at the Columbia College Film Festival held at Sundance, including “H1N1” about a zombie apocalypse, “Snooze, Charlie” about an addiction to the snooze button, and “The Hoarder” about a demonic lamp that attacks its possessor. David is currently developing his feature directorial debut and resides in Los Angeles as a writer, director, and editor.
