Misty Copsey was a 14-year-old from Puyallup, Washington who vanished after attending the state fair on September 17, 1992. Unable to get a ride home and missing her bus, Misty tried walking toward Highway 512—after which she was never seen again. Months later, her jeans, underwear, and socks turned up in a ditch along Highway 410, but no body was ever found; investigators concluded she was likely abducted and murdered.
