Catherine Satour will be performing at Parrtjima -A Festival of Light in Alice Springs this Saturday 12 April with the Darwin Symphony Orchestra. Catherine will be alongside Bronwyn Stuart and Casii Williams, each with an original song. Later in the night they perform together as the Desert Divas. She drops in to 8CCC's Big Brekky program with MusicNT’s Central Australian Manager, Liz Archer, to speak where the Desert Divas program began and how it has grown since 2011.

Darwin Symphony Orchestra Artistic Director and Chief Conductor Jonathan Tooby, took some time out before leaving on the DSO NT Tour, to speak with the Big Brekky Show about the itinerary. Arriving in Tennant Creek on 10 April with Dr Shellie Morris AO, in a debut performance of new songs in language from a collaboration with Warumungu women Rosemary Plummer, Marlene Plummer and Miriam Frank with new arrangements by DSO Composer in Residence Netanela Mizrahi and the input of a  local children’s choir. On Saturday they're joined at Parrtjima by local Desert Divas Catherine Satour, Casii Williams and Bronwyn Stuart. If that's not enough, a more intimate DSO deconstructed is on at Araluen 2pm Sunday with ASWCO.

The Flickerfest Festival Director Bronwyn Kidd was on hand to unpack this year's Flickerfest offerings in Mparntwe Alice Springs on Friday and Saturday 11 & 12 April on the Araluen Circus Lawns from 7.30pm.
