Concerned Territorian, Edan Baxter, visits The Big Brekky to chat about the effects of land clearing, planning and development on the endangered Gouldian Finch, particularly at Lee Point in Darwin. Defence Housing Australia previously received approval to bulldoze bushland at Lee Point  to build a defence housing development. However in June 2023, Environment Minister Tanya Plibersek confirmed Lee Point is habitat for the Gouldian Finch.

Hip Hop artist Nick Solo, from the band Horrorshow, visits The Big Brekky whilst on their Kings Amongst Many 10year anniversary tour. Their third of seven albums, Kings Among Many, was released in 2013, came in at number 2 on the ARIA charts, and is one of the band's most loved albums. The album looks at layers of history, both on a personal level and macro social level, exploring Australian identity and history. Horrowshow perform at Araluen Arts Centre on Saturday 7 September.
