Alice Benfer’s music is well known to the Big Brekky Show and we caught up after she launched her latest album Voices of The Bush and was announced as a finalist in the Country Music Awards at Tamworth in January 2025. During our chat we uncovered she's just released 'Cataclysm Down Under', composed with Paul Bromley. They have crafted an emotion-fueled rock ballad that captures the essence of surviving natural disasters.

Country songman Anthony Snape sings ‘FOREVER LEGEND’. This song is a story of a little boy’s desire and journey towards country music stardom…just like his dad. Written by lyricist Bruce Mackay after attending his first Country Music Festival in Tamworth earlier this year, Bruce worked with Anthony to produce this single that resonates for many.

CEO of Desert Knowledge Australia (DKA), Jimmy Cocking, visits The Big Brekky to share news from the Precinct, including the Batchelor Institute graduation ceremony, and supporting Purple House with testing water treatment technology for desert conditions.
