The Big Brekky Crew spoke with Mike Nash, an electrician and long-term resident of Tennant Creek, who is advocating for the reinstatement of the weather radar since it was decommissioned in 2015. The new Doppler radar was slated to be installed and operational by late 2022 but has been repeatedly pushed back. One Tank Hill aka Bill Allen Lookout is now the proposed site, with the BOM in the process of getting the relevant approvals to build the radar there.

Based in Lutruwita/Trowunna (Tasmania), and hailing from Groote Eylandt, the First Nations artist sings in English and Anindilyakwa languages. 'Midnight Blues' is a vulnerable, raw song of the soul, poured out during a challenging time in Emily's life.

Shaun Edwards, Founder of clothing label House Of Darwin and former AFL player, chats to The Big Brekky about the label - a for profit social enterprise that reinvests in remote indigenous communities through social programs.

The House of Darwin team will be in Mparntwe next week to paint a mural with young people, and meet with the community. On April 13th they will be at The Goods cafe and then presenting 'Desert Said Dance' at the Jump Inn.
