Alexandra Drummond, Curator at the Women's Museum of Australia, brings some exciting news to The Big Brekky Show. The Women's Museum has been awarded a Department of Veterans’ Affairs' grant for an exhibition honouring the women who served in WWII in Australia, in particular the women who operated searchlights. The project will include a children's program and a permanent commemorative sculpture. The sculpture will be commissioned to a local artist; EOI via Red Hot Arts, or contact Alexandra for info.

On the Big Brekky Show we have Mr Gavin Morris, the Principal of Yipirinya School, which has now become more than just a school but a place to belong, an extension of community for many of the town camp families in Alice Springs.
