Amy’s Bio:

Psychotherapist and life coach Amy Van Slambrook uses her personal journey of healing lifelong traumas to help others do the same, by giving voice to the unhealed wounds affecting their lives and relationships. With over 20 years of professional experience in healthcare administration and finance, genetic and psychological research, domestic violence, and entrepreneurship, Amy brings vast experience to her work in post-traumatic growth and overall wellness in mind, body, and spirit. In addition to a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelors in Psychology, she has trained with some of the foremost experts in the fields of faith, relationships, trauma, women’s issues, abuse recovery, brain health and functional medicine, including Dr. Bessel Van Der Kolk and Dr. Daniel Amen. As a licensed psychotherapist, certified life coach, experienced consultant, and published author, she specializes in trauma and relationships, helping countless women and couples to heal their trauma, find the gifts it gave them, and then go on to have lives and relationships of purpose and passion they never imagined possible.
