When Kathleen married Bill Lipscomb, she feels she has hit the jackpot. Bill is a handsome Air Force Sergeant. Kathleen didn't get a jackpot, she got a jackass. After 8 years and two kids, Bill and Kathleen separate. 
When Kathleen is missing from home and not there to take her children back from Bill, her friends fear the worst. The next day Kathleen's body is found in an abandoned field.  The only clues are the fact that her clothing is rolled up next to her and some red hairs.  Soon police find that they have too many suspects and not enough evidence.
