So we jumped on the pretty big bandwagon of "Chris Betts Farewell" specials. It seems that his monstrous ego could only be sated after having special appearances on every podcast in town and having a starring spot on every comedy stage in the city. Then, and only then, was he ready to leave. Once we were finally good and sick of him, he left us. Not with a whimper, but with another going away party. This episode also has a surprise guest. Totally hoaxed us.

It's been a few weeks since Fantasia rolled out of town, however, we needed that time to let all of raw awesomeness that we bore witness to sink in. To distill. To become a part of us. Now that that process is over and we are forever changed, we are ready to announce the winners of the first ever 9to5sies.

The best part about that joke is that Danny himself doesn't get it. Seriously, it means nothing to him. I'm not gonna explain it you, I'm not gonna hold your hand so stop asking. Ok, just who is Danny Payne? Well, in addition to be a generally awesome person (sadly fans, that's not enough to get on the show) and an amazing PR dude (that's Public Relations, read a book) he also exposes people to unsigned indie bands from the UK on a regular basis in multiple locations in the city, including the radio, since that's a location. It's Thursday! Join Keith, Jon and Scott as they discuss Scott's hatred of puppeteers, the Dark Knight Rises and what's wrong with it (finally!), Daredevil Yellow and some bands that Scott doesn't really recommend. He's listening to stuff so you don't. Also I think we talk a little about Jedi training. We cool that way.

In our final regularly scheduled episode we tackle the New Kids films. New Kids Turbo and New Kids Nitro. I really don't know what else to say here. You should probably just listen to the episode.

Following up on our all-star roster in Part 1 of the JFL Special, we have an equally insane lineup for this episode. We finally managed to track down and get DeAnne Smith into the Go Plug Yourself hotseat, hooked up briefly with a podcasting superstar, the hilarious and always well dressed Paul F. Tompkins and finally we closed off the night by sitting down with Mick Foley.

In what is almost our last episode of this podcast series we take a look at the Texas Chainsaw Massacre "spiritual sequel" Boneboys, Vice Films collection of vignettes The Fourth Dimension and the Chilean exploitation flick Hidden in the Woods (soon to be remade no less!)
