9to5.cc Podcasts: Including Go Plug Yourself (GPYS) & 9to5 Entertainment System (9ES)

We get together without Sophie and for some reason we get really serious (as you can probably tell from the super serious title I chose for this). Ok, it’s not really “some reason” it’s because I was reading about some[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry...

Are you aware that Montreal has it’s very own bonafide roller derby league? Ok, you probably did. Scott and I are both announcers for MTLRD so there’s a good chance you at least know it exists. Well, this week the[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry...

Here’s the part where I talk about the podcast but usually talk about what audio issues may or may not plague the recording. I’m happy to report that other than the fact that my voice is a little louder than[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry...

After recording this episode, Walter described Graham as the “perfect guest”. I think this was possibly just because Graham admitted to briefly entertaining the idea of pursuing a career in pro-wrestling and was also interested in roller derby. Either way,[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry...

No Scott, tell us how you really feel about your about-to-be-born child. This is the last 9ES before Scott is a full blown father, I mean, I guess he’s a father right now, but his child still lives inside of[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry...

In the same way that Scott sat 9eS 30 out, Sophie is missing here in 9ES 31. We are some busy people, Sophie was out repping 9to5 (dot cc) in New York City you see, probably not really, but she was in NYC going to Broadway Shows and stuff. We don't talk about that at all in this episode, what we do talk about is all the geeky stuff that you should be talking about with your friends. A healthy mix of up-to-the-minute geek stuff and old timey geek nostalgia (sometimes both at the same time). Listen with your earholes Pam.

Adam could be on this podcast based solely on the fact that he had live ponies at his birthday party last year. Seriously, live ponies that people could ride around in the alley behind his house. That alone would be reason enough to warrant having him on the show. The fact that he's running his own studio (Rail City Media), films a successful Youtube series (Dinner with TJ) and is also able to drive nails into his head and eat glass (as his sideshow alter-ego Atom Balm) is really just icing on the cake. Because seriously, ponies.

Holy shit, with a new USB splitter comes a new host of recording (or rather editing) problems for me to deal with. We did it though and other then a few moments around the 45 minute mark the sound quality[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry...

First of all, I will apologize again for the lateness of this episode. Due to various circumstances we recorded an entire episode that is too hot for the internet. We might add it later as a DVD special feature. Anyhow,[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry...
