Walter and Keith sit down and finally devote an entire show to pro-wrestling with Montreal's Hardcore Hero, Green Phantom!

For the first 9ES of the year we talk about butter running out in Russia. I'm not going to Google that, you can fact check our own nonsense. Something that is definitely real (but I'm not going to link to it either) are cognac pipes. Look those up too. We also talk a whole heck of a lot about dicks in movies, starting with Django Unchained and then taking a magical journey through the history of dongs in cinema. Here it is, the podcast you've been waiting for! The podcast where we talk about all the stuff that we loved in 2012, specifically, stuff that came out in 2012. It's the first podcast of 2013 and we're already getting nostalgic for last year, we are so retro.

Man, this podcast is like a who's-who of at least two Montreal based podcasts. After we showed up and brought our antics to Why Does It Exist? a few weeks ago, Alex showed up on our show to return the favour. One love podcasting yo, that's what we're all about. We talk about movies (of course), doing bath salts, John McAfee and how exactly Alex came to start his life long love affair with really, really terrible movies. We also talk quite a bit about pornography. In a tasteful way though. Enjoy!

You might notice that during the intro we say that it's December 27th, but then in the beginning of the podcast I say this episode is coming out today (the 20th) but by the end I am apparently drunk enough to think that it's coming out on the 27th and so. That's because I'm an idiot. I've recorded 3 podcasts in 2 days that spread out over 3 weeks, cut me some slack public. Cut me some slack. This is the last regularly scheduled 9to5 Entertainment System of 2012 guys, you should spread your love all over it. It will keep you warm in the dark of night as the Santaman in the sky peers into your soul and prepares to devour your children. Or something. Also, Scott sounds sleepy in that intro.

So the former writer of one of Montreal's premiere LGBT/pop culture/plain old hilarious and interesting columns, "Three Dollar Bill" from the late, great, free indie paper The Hour joins us to talk about his new blog "Pop Tart" over at The Gazette. No, I'm just kidding. I mean, we do sort of talk about that but mostly we just sit back and enjoy what I'm sure is only the tip of the iceberg of Richard's amazing stories.
