9to5.cc Podcasts: Including Go Plug Yourself (GPYS) & 9to5 Entertainment System (9ES)

Welcome back to the best podcast that nobody is listening to! Due to the massive storm last week in Montreal we a) lost power so couldn't record and b) couldn't record because I somehow forgot to work the recording software. As a result we had to record early Sunday morning without Sophie. We make it work so you never miss a chance to hear us ramble on about whatever is on our mind. Anyhow, we're back. Enjoy the show.

While we don't normally like to endorse other Montreal based internet celebrities we made an exception this week for the very picky eater TJ Hazelden. Why? Because that previous sentence was a lie.

Look right up there! Yeah! Up there! The iTunes thing, subscribe and comment and like us and all that shit. Anyways, yeah, someone, and I'm not going to name names but you know who you are, is a heavy breather. We're working on it guys, we really are. You may have noticed that those pesky echoes are just about all the way gone. It's almost as though after nearly 50 episodes of this show we're starting to have an idea of what we're doing. Enjoy the show 9to5 (universe). Also, bug ups to Scott for providing this week's Portland inspired 9ES logo.

We're a week or so away from Halloween and in Montreal that means we're a week away from what is known as "Rocky Season". You are almost certainly familiar with the cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show, right? Well, before it was a picture show it was just a show. The stage production of Rocky is being put on once again this year in lovely Montreal and joining us to talk about just that is Producer and Musical Director Shayne Gryn. Suck it up, buttercup.

Jono was up North communing with nature so Scott, Sophie and I hold down the fort with our wide variety of super powers. Sophie is a little sleepy on this one guys, cut her some slack. However, here's a picture of her psychedelic anthill butt. Isn't that something?

If you haven't had the chance to catch these two young studs of the Montreal comedy scene, much like John Cena, THE TIME IS NOW. Tomorrow night they'll be co-headlining their show at Theatre St-Catherine and they sat down with Walter and I to discuss comedy, super heroes, bump and strolls and whether or not they're breaking the rules by headlining their own show. You want to know my opinion? FUCK THE RULES. Enjoy the show.

It's Thursday which means it's podcast time. Last week was Go Plug Yourself which means that this week is... 9to5 Entertainment System! Yay! Seriously, let us know what you think motherfuckers. LET US KNOW! Talk to us! Validate us!

Long time LOYAL listeners (aka: probably not you) will remember that Massimo has actually already been on the show before. However, he had to share the stage with Big Mike P. Since Massimo is also leaving town, we decided to[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry...

Look at that image, do you know what that is? If you don't know what that is you have to listen to the episode to find out. Sophie, Scott and I sit down and talk comics, movies, tattoos and a Cleric named Moustache. All this and more.

We're to the one, the only, Mo Arora. He is one of the top guys over at the Laughmatic Podcast (one of the two). He's also leaving Montreal.
