A couple of weeks ago during the Fantasia festival we caught up with the one, the only, repeatedly masked murderer: Kane Hodder. He's been Jason in Friday the 13th, he's been Leatherface, he's been Victor Crowley in the Hatchet series. He really has to be one of the most prolific on-screen killers in cinema history. Anyhow, he also threatened to choke Walter by his scraggly beard (in what can't be a coincidence, Walter shaved it days later). He sat down to talk about fire stunts, Hatchet 3, bullying and generally being a big screen bad ass.

Note: The 9to5 crew in no way endorses dropping babies on their heads. Our feelings about sexual violence in fiction, advertising to children and sexism in comics are much more blurred. We talk about all of those things and more in this week's episode of the 9to5 Entertainment System. Yeah, I realize that we talk about some gender charged issues while our resident Sophie is not on the episode and that might seem slightly suspect. It's not, I assure you.

So we didn't quite get to the same number of films as we did last year, but hey, we had more written reviews this year (not to mention our interview with Lloyd Kaufman and upcoming interview with Kane Hodder) so deal with it. It was closing night so I checked out the big closing film of Fantasia Edgar Wright's The World's End and Jono went the indie route and watched Mexican slow paced zombie drama Halley, which just so happened to have a short film called My Pain is Worse Than Your Pain before it that Jon also seemed to enjoy. Legendary independent film maker and mad genius behind Troma films Lloyd Kaufman joined us along with one of the stars of his latest flick Return to Nuke 'Em High Vol 1 Catherine Corcoran to talk about pooping in paper bags, living in funeral homes and 3 foot penis monsters and lactating all over the rest of the cast. In short, exactly what you'd expect when you sit Walter and I down with members of the Troma family. Listen now for the best 20 or so minutes of your day.

What we've got here is probably the second to last in our Fantasia review series of podcasts, we're gonna try to whip up another edition of the 9to5sies by the weekend, but we're almost all done here.
