David and Betim are seasoned pros in the annual 20km dash to the summit of Colorado’s Pikes Peak, and this year David is returning to hustle one of three BBi-prepared Porsches up the mountain as Betim’s family-run enterprise take on the big manufacturers in a real-life David v Goliath epic. David and Betim reveal just what it’s like competing in the famous 14,115ft-elevated hillclimb, and why they’re determined to outmuscle the big guys at the 99th meeting come June 27th 2021. Andreas Mau runs CarPix AB, a long-running photograph agency capturing spy shots of manufacturers’ pre-production cars in testing all around the world. Andreas shares stories of his time following Porsche in hot and cold weather testing and at the ‘Ring, and documents how the game has changed since the early 1990s.
