This week for the podcast we thought we would take it back to nearly 3 years ago where it all began. We took great care to produce a core range that provided our community with a standard of drinkability. This approachable foundation to our beers has been a driver for all of our limited releases to date.

Something a little different for you all this week as we dive into some results of our barrel program here at Revel!In recent times the peoples brewer has been ageing beers in wine barrels, allowing the environment inside each barrel to take over and form new beers to share with you all!

Flex and Matty will dissect the Barrel Aged Gose and Berliner Weisse, two German sour base beer styles, they they've allowed the barrels to work their magic on!

We've got another double beer release for you this week Revellers so sit back and enjoy!

Our Oat Cream IPA collab with Currumbin Valley went off like a frog in a sock, selling out at the brewery 8 hours! Luckily you can still grab this one from your favourite bottle shops and craft bars, but I'm sure it's going to go quickly there too.

The Browntown American Brown Ale is another popular beer with the punters, which is coming around for it's 3rd release and makes a great winter warmer!

We have a double release episode to wet your whistle with this week, Revellers! The Pavlova Sour was first released in December last year for our 2nd birthday and since then, we've been hounded to release again, so we've given the people what they want!

Our second beer is brand new to the Revel stable, which is the Helles, which is a Munich Lager of the Bavarian style. This traditional beer will have you feeling like you're at Oktoberfest after the first sip!

We've dubbed our Russian Imperial Stout "The King of Beers". The only thing that could make this beer even better, was age! Our 2019 RIS has been aged in a shiraz barrel, the same kind donated by Matt Wenk from Smidge Wines for our Montepulciano IPA!

Best enjoyed with friends in our chilly sub 20 degree Queensland winters, the notes and complexities of this beer will stick out in your mind for years to come!
