  • A day in the life of Jared: the code of conduct

Hello gang, welcome to another edition of the program here at A Day in the Life.

The Code of Conduct is probably going to be the most controversial document I've ever read as part of being here at Metro.

While I want to stay keeping this podcast as being a positive learning program, I read a section of the code and talk about what else it has that I don't cover.

The document has been updated as of June, 2023. The Accessibility unit asked me to review the document. I've mentioned that it is a joke, but maybe there is some enforcement with recent changes discussed since this podcast's inception?

Here is the link to the Transit Court web page which is linked on page 1 of the code.

Here is a Here is a link to a copy of the code of conduct in PDF format.

Here is the ethics page of L.A. Metro which has headings for the code of conduct, lobbying at Metro, form 700, procurement, and possibly more.

The links herein are for informational purposes. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll see what I can do.

  • A day in the life: an article dealing with updates to the DPS at Metro

Hello folks, welcome to another edition of the podcast known as "A Day in the Life" for short.

We'll be releasing some podcasts in the coming days, and this one will cover one of two recent blog posts in which we'll be referencing. The other, while not being covered directly, will be referenced in another podcast.

This article comes to us from The Source, Metro's blog. Its titled Metro Public Safety Department launches Care-Based Services Division and it was talked about in recent meetings including the operations meeting that was held this most recent Thursday, January 15, 2026.

It was possible that it was mentioned in meetings on the 14th including the programming committee, a committee I normally don't sit on.

The other article talks about some items that the board will be looking to pass, including the Green Line which will now extend the K line, and some stuff dealing with the Sepulveda Pass.

I hope that you'll find this podcast of interest, and we'll see you all later! Contact me at 818-527-4754 or text/WhatsApp 804-442-6975. Welcome all subscribers!

Welcome to nother edition of the podcast known as "A Day in the Life." I'm Jared Rimer, and this time, we're bringing you the operations meeting agenda package.

Learn more about the operations meeting by going to the board page and finding the meeting page.

We'd put the official page, but I believe these pages expire, so I'm linking to the page directly and you'll go ahead and find what is of interest to you.
