Dr Todd Riddle DC has had a successful clinic for over a decade in North Carolina and is now teaching 3-4 rehab, soft tissue and orthopedic classes at Texas Chiropractic College. Not only that but on many a weekend you can see him teaching Live for the FAKTR seminar series.

Dr Todd had a neck injury that lingered for nearly ten years while playing collegiate football and arena football that was managed in the more traditional route. After 3 visits to the chiropractor, however, the neck pain was gone and he choose a different path for his career.

While his undergrad and life revolved around sports and rehab he ended up going to Sherman College which is a super straight school. What did he take away from that experience and how did that shape his first few years out in the real world?

You have to know who you are in the beginning of your career and sometimes that’s a hard thing to figure out without having much experience.

How do you reconcile when a modality seems to be getting clinic results but research isn’t showing its evidence based enough? Part of the answer is the 3 legs of an evidence based practice.

What’s the deal with the FAKTR Floss aka a thick elastic band that you wrap over a joint so tight that the blood flow is greatly reduced? How is that different than say using straps for Mulligan Technique. If the mechanism is ischemic compression how does that help the injury heal faster? Is cryotherapy a similar mechanism of action?

Let’s learn what is FAKTR and why its not a verb. FAKTR in a nutshell is a systematic evaluation system that taps into techniques that you have already learned and makes it more efficient and have better outcomes. We spend a while flushing out how to implement these procedures and what it’s not and could you attend FAKTR seminar if you didn’t know much about rehab and soft tissue therapies.

What is the Hallmark Difference that makes FAKTR unique when treating people in pain?

Where has the strong male role model gone? What factors are contributing to men checking out of their family and being sedated?

Sedated: being absent to your role as a father and spouse or even a mentor to others. Someone who would rather play video games or stay in the shop than help around the house and parent.

What role does society and feminism play in the change of the male leadership? Why are the guys not stepping up to their role that God has meant for them to do.

Are males too aggressive in the way they talk, interact etc? Are men the reason why woman have the inequality the media talks about?

Why is it so easy for men to step away? What causes them to be driven?

If you look politically on a local level, congregations of churches… the civility between each other has gotten lower and our differences drive a wedge… why is that?

Leadership: what can you do to show leadership in the family? Does it mean “my way or the highway” or something completely different? Does it have to be complicated?

Blended families are more common than ever, how do you show male role model leadership in that setting? When you only see your kids on the weekend and your kids are at the age where they don’t want to spend time with you, now what?

Millennials get a bad rap for being lazy, but he says when they are passionate about something – they get super productive. Is the problem that the parents haven’t taught them how to be driven to that passion, maybe helicopter parenting not training the kids well enough?

Why don’t boys have more rituals to manhood?

Is average and mediocre in all areas of life, ok?

Christian men are obligated to Lead, Serve and to See the future through for our kids. Show them there is something more to do than this world and that they can do even more than you did.

What benefits are there to guys getting together to hang out? Does it have to be hugs and tears, can it be BBQ and the game but what also can be missing? How do male role models let their guard down and share what’s on their mind to have accountability?

Christian men and ethical business practices. Being that he was in the military for so long, what is the term TWO-fers mean?

Date night has so many important results, not only for the woman but also for the man. Mr. Baker goes through several ways to start doing a date night as well as the logistical side of it. Remember to Engage with conversation and don’t make excuses to skip a date each week. If you haven’t talked much or dated in 10 years, expect a certain time frame of bad dates and awkwardness.

He started learning marketing in the 80s at a young age, back when flyers and billboards were popular. He loves that the internet has leveled the playing field for all size businesses. Instead of paying for 100,000 eyes to see an ad but only 100 really cared, we can now just focus on the 1000s that are interested right this moment.

Who are you looking for as a customer? What is going on in Their Head and Their Pain Point?

Our email campaigns should be walking a customer through a process so they ultimately become a paying patient. That starts with a segmented email list so you can laser focus the message. People are in a different segment of the Awareness Cycle and the Buying Cycle which is why the strategist mindset comes into play.

Pay per click on “Optometry Chicago” search term will be way to expensive. What’s the alternative to have relevant searches but also affordable? How many landing pages are enough?

Does the message your craft need to change if you are in Philly vs NOLA vs ATL?

Ads, pictures, copy are important but it all Fails in importance to the pre-work aka the Strategy behind everything you are doing.

Do you have to hire someone for high level and implementation or can you do some on more on a budget?

Strategy First! Then start implementing. He gives us a mock example (that any good ad agency should do) of reverse engineering how much money you want to make in a year – all the way to how many leads need to be generated – what percent click, download and of course making the sale percentage. One thing that separates Shane is that his company can teach your staff how to sell better so you aren’t wasting the money invested into marketing.

Your marketing and landing pages should really be setting you up to just show that you are the person to give money to because they are already convinced that what you and others are offering is the key they need.

Shane belives in download this PDF type of service, but why does he not just provide the winning download for you? He likens it to taking pills for a headache, tune in to hear this great answer.

Mr. Frisco is a seasoned chef and he tells a motivating story about how working in a restaurant at 11 years old set him up for a career that has been greatly influenced by food sales.

Another great story is how his 7 year old daughter actually has made a viable business. We discuss how to encourage our kids to be entrepreneurs or at least crave knowledge while growing up. Let your kids gravitate what they are naturally interested in, then empower them to explore it more.

Well, this episode is going to dive into those things. He’s been pioneering this type of model in Florida for the past eight years, it took that long to get through all the legislation, and that he is ready to talk about it, as well as the worldwide distribution, which has a pretty cool idea on Dr. Sheldon is fluent in English and Arabic. He is dual fellowship trained one at Hartford Hospital in clinical interventional cardiology, and another at Winthrop University Hospital for individual and clinical cardiology.
