They burst on the scene in 1980 and never looked back. With smash hits like  “Blood and Roses,” “Only a Memory,” “Behind the Wall of Sleep,” and “A Girl Like You," The Smithereens have cultivated an incredibly loyal fanbase, and they are coming to Rams Head On Stage for one show on June 8th!

We hopped on the phone with Dennis Diken, one of the founders (and the drummer) to talk about staying power for 4 years, what makes a Smithereens show so special, new projects, and tried to clear up a rumor from a 2012 Rams Head show!
