Regardless of what Christians are going through, they can thank through it. Why? Because they are receiving an unshakable Kingdom. Through Christ, God has brought us near and welcomed us into this place of underserved privilege and grace. So, let us be thankful and boldly approach the throne of grace.
Everyday life can become a grind. Often, the pattern of life we have seems like a hamster wheel -- round and round we go. What if it was possible to embrace the grind and experience God's presence as you thank through it? You and the life you live will be used to increase the glory of God almighty!
Gratitude is tough when it feels like you're in the valley. Yet, all throughout the Scriptures, God calls His people to worship — regardless of their present condition, circumstance, or lot in life. It’s time that we take our eyes off of ourselves and what we can get out of worship, and start thanking through it.
We all know that gratitude comes easily when things are going well, but how do we manage to be content during hard or lean times? This four-week series examines the intersection of Scripture and gratitude, showing the importance of being able to thank God regardless of what you are going through.
As men, we have been given the responsibility to provide for our families. What this looks like in our culture might look different than it did 2000 years ago, but God is still calling men to stand up, be strong, and play the man by providing for their families. How? Come and see...
Men, you have been given the authority by heaven to be the protector. We cannot delegate our responsibility to the school [state], to the algorithms, or the TV. Just providing for your family is not enough. Protect them spiritually, physically, and emotionally. Train them to be ready for life.
Jesus is the way the truth and life! This is a life that calls for men and women of faith who are courageous enough to play the man, to fight bravely and prove our strength. We are the Ambassadors of Jesus Christ. We are a priesthood of warrior priest and the war is here. We represent who He is and bring His message of life. Will you play the man?
Everyone — it seems — has an idea on how men ought to and ought not to behave, but few have offered much in the way of a path forward. The expectation of our culture is that man needs to give up on masculinity and become less manly to fit into society. The truth is that masculinity is not the problem. Masculinity is actually a part of what God calls men to be for their families and their community. It’s about playing the man by embracing your role as prophet, priest, protector, and provider.
