Have you ever wondered if you should hide your light to avoid shining out someone else?

Let me ask you this, does Christ hide His light to help us feel better out of our shine?

No! As He shines, we shine! Let your light shine, build and lighten the ones around you, and all glory be to God, you Father in Heaven.

Matt. 5:14-16

Remind yourself, "As I shine, you shine, & we All shine!" 

So Go on... BE A LIGHT IN THE DARK! 

Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, an American educator, and religious leader asks in his 2012 CES talk, Israel, Israel, God is calling, asks, "Do we leave our religions at the door?"

It got me thinking about the times that I have hung up my armor when I should have been holding on to it with all my might! The moments of despair, anger, grief, bitterness, and fear. I will now ask, "Did I just check my armor at the door?"

When have you left your armor at the door? Will you pick it up and armor up, now?

That is my goal, to always wear my armor with faith, strength, and courage! Will you try with me?

Throughout Christ's ministry, He went about serving and loving others with ease. He didn't complain once. It wasn't hard work, it was what He wanted to do each day.

While growing up, my dad had a saying from John Clavin that he loved to repeat when we asked if he was tired. He would say, "No rest for the wicked, and the righteous don't need it."

I never understood what this meant until I matured and found my own love to serve. Yet, even with that love, I still find myself weary from time to time.

However, as we follow Christ's footsteps we can learn and strengthen our armor as we strive to be more like him. As we do this, we will naturally find ease and peace in our daily good works, passions, and purpose.

We have this power in life to choose. Wow! Isn't it amazing? What will your choices be? How often will you utilize this power?

I am stronger with God's Army on both sides of the veil! I am grateful for God's Army, my family, God, my Savior, and the Holy Ghost. I am grateful for inspired actions, exact obedience and the miracles that come from that exact obedience.

Come and learn to ground in the light of Christ.
