The girl, dressed in a pretty pink dress, poses for a photograph sat on the knee of a young man, smartly dressed in a tuxedo. They could be any young couple, but are not, for whilst she smiles broadly, he cannot, through pain, and inability. She then approaches the young man in the tuxedo, and brandishing a knife, proceeds to mutilate his chest with it, carving her initials into him.
She then approaches him with a cellar of salt, and his terrified eyes widen as she pours it into the wound….
Sounds like a bad movie? It is, it’s a scene from a 2009 Australian horror movie called The Loved Ones – except that in 2012, in the English city of Chester, someone thought life should imitate art….
