Kenworth Reeves, along with a few friends, opened 13 Stripes Brewery in Taylor's Mill on May 13th, 2017, to a crowd of over 5,000 people. We recently sat down with Kenworth to discuss how he went from being an event promoter in Orlando, Florida, to a successful entrepreneur with many business ventures.  

Kenworth Reeves met his wife Allison when they were in the 4th grade and they have 5 beautiful children together. One day, while traveling for work with his father's roofing business, he received a phone call that would change his life forever. He buckled down, put faith and family first above all, and continued to build a successful real estate investment company, open 13 Stripes Brewery and 13 Stripes - River Lodge, and serve on the board of the non-profit World Hope. Charles Russ, a West Point graduate, started R-axis Financial Planning and Investments in 2017. In addition to his career as a financial advisor, he also owns Catalyst Gym and recently opened the Recovery Suite, a mental and muscular recovery spa. We recently sat down with him at the dynamic Gather Greenville (Gather GVL) space in downtown Greenville, SC and enjoyed some outstanding homemade Italian cuisine from Pasta Addict. Learn out how his grandmother steered him to West Point, how 9/11 changed everything during his senior year, and how he ended up in Germany after graduation for his branch assignment.   Discover how he started as a financial advisor while still in the Army stationed in Germany, how Charles grew that business overseas, and the new marketing strategies he had to learn when he returned stateside.  

Gather GVL is an expansive outdoor food and beverage space with restaurants built almost entirely of retired shipping containers. Doug and Mack Cross of Four Oaks Property Group developed the concept, and as of this recording, it houses 13 different restaurant concepts, including Pasta Addict, a homemade pasta concept serving approachable, quick, fresh pasta in a casual and fun environment. After cultivating a local Instagram following, Jennifer Pepe and Anthony Pepe started Pasta Addict in the Gather GVL incubator space. Gather GVL designed the incubator space to help chefs and restauranteurs test the waters of a business concept at a lower cost. The space provides a short-term lease, with reduced costs and equipment provided. Once in that incubator space, Pasta Addict, which makes all of their pasta by hand and makes all of their sauces in-house, took off. They knew they had something special and quickly moved into a more long-term home inside the main food hall.
