Todays guest needs very little introduction. She is an international, award winning singer/ songwriter who is touring Europe, with her third album it’s way. She is Alexandra Alden. 

Before I began this interview, I told  Alexandra that I wanted this podcast to be an opportunity for us all to get to know the Alex behind her music and all the success we see on social media. 

Alexandra, like many of us, is on a search for belonging. Through her music she navigates captivating tales about morality and love, the gentle wisdom of the butterfly effect as well as the immensity and beauty of nature.

Matt is a 30-year-old medical doctor who left a life of hospital work behind for a supposed gap year before specialisation at the age of 24.

5 years later, he’s wrapped up an equally-long career at Lovin Malta, most recently as the Head of Internal Marketing; he also produced and starred in numerous online series including Basically and Livestream of Consciousness - both of which were ranked as being in the top 10 most popular online shows in Malta and Gozo.

Matt’s passions lie in creative writing, queer activism, vegan and vegetarian cooking, environmental issues, and critically analysing Malta’s colonial history and legacy.

In today's episode, we discuss having the kind of dialogue with yourself that's required to make bold life decisions and statements, and how all of this relates to sexuality, career, family and so on.

The truth is, not everyone is thrilled about me being here, some of whom don’t take their moral codes seriously. It can be hard to deal with people like that, but I stay true to my own moral code no matter what.
