I can honestly say that with OUT my husband supporting me the way he does, I would not be where I am today. I wanted to bring him on to share from his perspective, our lives over the last year as parents to 4 boys with the youngest being just a few months old. But it doesn't stop there! We were a new family of 6, gym owners, he continued his work as a police officer, and then I added in an online course with new business ideas. As if we weren't busy already! But he took this season of our lives with such grace and acceptance and love. It was better than I could have ever imagined. I hope you have a Casey (spouse or not..) in your life. Check out jennakutcher.com/kbb to be a part of like minded women (and a few men!) to find YOUR support!

Hilary and her husband Ty are owners of a cross fit gym they just opened up within the last 2 years. Ty is also a BCBA (fancy word for Board Certified Behavior Analyst) and Hilary was working part time at night all while raising their 3 young kids. They were literally passing ships in the night with hardly any time for themselves, or as a couple. But that all changed with ONE decision. Hilary and I talk about how we met through an online program we took last year and how that online program, as well as the community we were a part of, changed her life in SO many ways! This is a good one!

Have you ever thought to yourself - I eat healthy, I go on walks and am active during the day for work.. why can't I lose this weight? In today's episode, I coach Erica through overcoming her obstacle of this very plateau. It took us a while to get to it, but talking through her food choices and some changes I would make there as well as her currently active life and what changes we can make there, led us to ultimately finding out what will work to get to the next level!
Going your whole life not focused on your health and fitness dramatically changed in 2 major life events for Stacey Thury. The first one was when she became a mom. When it became difficult to conceive her 3rd baby.. especially after the first two were pretty much "on demand", Stacey had to make some changes and decisions when it came to focusing on her health and she talks about what that looked like. The second event in life happened nearly as a result of a book she read and how that changed the way she thought not just about her health, but her life in general. This is when she "became me". She talks through what this meant then and what it means now.
In this episode, Angie and I talk specifically about her experience with completing the Whole30 program. With some major health issues that started back in 2005 and a huge desire and sense for finding healing through means other than just the use of Western medicine, Angie was in search of finding an elimination program to help her finally feel better. She talks us through her experience in why she wanted to find an elimination diet and what happened as a result of completing her first Whole30. As the author of The Healing Compass, she discovered the connection between her Body, Mind, Heart, and Soul; the Healing Compass was born. Make sure to check out her book on Amazon.
