Going faster than a roller coaster, the Union continue to blaze trails in the Leagues Cup. Meanwhile the AMPU crew ponder Gazdag's zen-like technique for taking PK's, worry about the USWNT fortunes in the World Cup, and hypothesize about Blake's secret genius plan to play in Europe. Also, Wrexham AFC stop by Subaru Park to find out that it's not always sunny in Philadelphia.
Love like yours will surely come my way.

It's astounding. Time is fleeting. Madness takes its toll.
And as a result, the AMPU crew finally post this late edition of A More Philly Union, in which they review the Union's two most recent league games, against Nashville and NYC. Paul, C, and E ponder the pressing and profound questions: Is there still life in the Joe Bendik Experiment? Has Carranza ascended to pure Philly-dom? How many Cup tournaments can be squeezed into one summer? And where does this all lead us?
It's just a jump to the left, and then a step to the right.

The Union are LA-bound to face one of two teams in that town. Back East, the AMPU crew give their mea culpa, consider a line of AMPU tote bags, discuss the Joe Bendik experiment, and pop the proverbial bubbly over some good news.

The Union travel south to Atlanta to start off their three-game road trip. Meanwhile, the AMPU crew compare the performances of Joe Bendik and Andre Blake, discuss the philosophy of the Brian McBride School of Bad-assery, and struggle with the hard truth of predicting Union games.

Time and Space collide, giving the AMPU crew some new challenges in getting this week's episode made and posted. But, as the old adage goes: the sooner we get behind, the sooner we can get caught up.
Also, the Union played two games this week, milestones are celebrated, and we get a little vocabulary lesson.

It's a good thing that the Union didn't have any games this past week. First, the Boys in Blue got some extra time to rest up. But second, the AMPU crew got extra room in the episode to cover additional topics like the international break, Gold Cup, new roster lineups, the transfer window, sensible legislation in DC, and Jim Curtin trivia.
There's a little of column A and a little of column B in this week's episode!

The Union take their 9-game undefeated streak on the road as the Boys in Blue head west to face the San Jose Earthquakes. Meanwhile, the AMPU gang discuss Wrexham, conspiracies in Florida, and NOT the Leagues Cup. And of course they talked about the big news about a particular world-class player making a particular big move: Ale Bedoya's Jim Curtin impression.

From defense, to scoring, to standings in the table, the Union demonstrate that good things come in three's as they welcome CF Montréal to Philly. Meanwhile, Nate joins Paul, C, and E as they tackle the "head versus heart" conundrum that is weighing the merits of Concacaf Champions League and the US Open Cup. Also, the AMPU Crew consider employing Bingo cards and celebrate a newly minted American.

Time and Space are put to the test this week as the Union travel to NYC to play soccer in the geometry of a baseball stadium and then return home to host Charlotte FC where Blake bends gravity to his will. Meanwhile, the AMPU crew experiences the closest thing to Time Dilation as it was May when they began recording this episode and it was June when they wrapped up. Special guest host, Nate, delivers a timely message on unbiased reporting, and Jason Kelce makes a brief appearance (sort of).
This little maneuver is going to cost us 56 minutes!
