Two women have teamed up to try and "de-colonise" Portland's landscape, the site of Victoria's first European settlement.

Keicha Day, a Gunditjmara and Yorta Yorta woman... and Suzannah Henty, a sixth-generation descendent of coloniser James Henty are confronting the myth of the "good coloniser."

They're pushing for the renaming of Henty place names and the removal of monuments to the Henty family.
