Shame on Marci Collier-Overstreet, one of two Democrats vying to be Atlanta City Council President, for using the groan-worthy "defund the police" quip at a recent Atlanta Press Club debate, in an attempt to take a swipe at her opponent, Rohit Malhotra. Overstreet, it should be noted, voted in favor every time she had the chance, for the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center - aka "Cop City."
