  • Where You Look Affects How You Feel

    — Where you look affects how you feel — This is a good way to understand brainspotting! When using brainspotting, a person can identify internal sensations or emotions by focusing on specific spots in their visual field, a targeted mindfulness that helps them identify tension in their bodies, and connect those sensations or emotions to a specific spot in their visual field. Through brainspotting, new neural pathways are created over time, so the spot triggering these feelings no longer triggers these feelings. The brainspotting method enables the body to utilize its natural healing mechanisms by enabling it to 'self-scan' itself in order to access areas of the brain where trauma is stored. This type of process can alleviate symptoms such as anxiety, depression, and physical pain. Brainspotting can also benefit anyone with feelings that might be holding them back in their career, artists and creatives and athletes.

  • Healing Trauma Holistically

    — Without pain, why would you seek to go deep within? When someone is depressed, there are two possible outcomes: either sinking into despair and never emerging from it. Or, they can also go inwards to heal themselves or to receive assistance in their healing. As part of the Divine's plan, depression forces us to make that decision either way. Unless you're on a slow awakening path, you wouldn't even bother going inwards without pain. People on a slow awakening path are those who have not yet experienced pain, but have begun to ask the Big Life questions and have begun to examine themselves. ~ Sheetal

Valeria interviews Sheetal Mistry — She is trauma healer coach.

  • Incorporating Mind, Body, Spirit In Our Healthcare

    — Your immune system is heavily influenced by the state of your emotions.

Did you ever have a stomachache after hearing worrisome news?

You might have felt hot, anxious, stomach swirling, or other physical sensations in your body if you were fearing you would be late for a meeting (perhaps you were the speaker).

Perhaps you had a bad night's sleep and felt physically ill.

Three scenarios share one thing in common: overstimulated nervous systems. In your entire body, you have a nervous system that controls homeostasis, which is a fancy word for balance. Your nervous system regulates your breath, heartbeat, circulation, digestion, blood pressure, brain chemistry, and many other functions.

Suddenly, the mind can flip the body from 'rest and digest' calmness to 'fight or flight' chaos. Although this mechanism is intended to outrun tigers, it is often triggered when we perceive danger that doesn't exist.

A person's nervous system immediately affects their immune system. Our connection to chronic infections lies here. When your nervous system is under stress, whether that stress is a result of the past or the present, it immediately affects your immune system. Healing begins with "unpacking stress in your body and mind" to unburden your immune system. We store stress when we cannot handle it all in the moment - the body is a great place to store it. The goal is to find hidden stress lurking beneath conscious awareness and trapped in the physical body.

Energy medicine is a highly effective and fast way to do this, without having to relive your past. Disconnect energy drains, restore function of your immune cells, and start feeling better, often immediately. Let the body share where it is stuck and unburden, so it can heal naturally, with it's own power.

You do not need to be at the mercy of virus, bacteria, parasite and fungi. Your body knows how to handle these infections without difficulty if your immune system is functioning in balance. It's time to restore your immune system with energy medicine so you can step into your full strength and resilience. Your body and mind will thank you.

  • Break All The Rules And Live A Healthier Life!

    — "In 2018, I watched a good portion of Hurricane Michael blow through Tallahassee from my front porch. As a lifelong Southerner, I've seen a few tropical storms and hurricanes, and find myself stuck between being in awe of the power of nature and wanting to give it a wide enough berth to show my respect. As I watched the trees in the storm, I noticed that they were doing more than just standing there. They were swaying, bending, and releasing. Even when we are rooted where we are, we can do the same thing.

The storms of life can definitely push us around, but we don't have to just stand there. Like a tree, we all sway from side to side throughout our lives to allow for this event or that unexpected change of plans. I believe that these times actually make us stronger, more cognitively nimble, and more creative.

Sway when you can so that the things you do to take care of yourself can keep happening even in a storm. Swaying might mean compromising on when exercise happens so that it can, rather than letting it stop altogether.

As I watched the trees bend I thought about how they were pretty stubborn and must really be committed to being where they were to withstand so much pressure and not fall over. It reminded me of those times when life gets so hectic that if we want to stay healthy in spite of it, we need to make even bigger compromises.

Those trees were swaying, and they were bending, but they were also releasing some of themselves in order to stay upright. This is a loss, for sure, but one that is regained over time. Don't be afraid to let some branches fall off your tree if it means you stay rooted in what supports your physical and emotional health. It's likely that those things will come back in time, and the loss will be a temporary one. I believe that our roots will go deeper, and we will be stronger. If another of life's storms is headed your way, be like a tree. Sway, bend, release, and hang on to your roots." ~ Heather

  • Making Sense Of Trauma To Make Meaning Out Of Healing

    — "Trauma often separates us from our own self, leaving us feeling disjointed. We exile parts of us we feel are "bad", and shame hides us from seeing our own reflection. Through healing, you can have a mind, body, spirit connection that ushers in a new sense of self-agency and self-alignment. If you have trauma or abuse in your human experience story, you are not alone. You are not broken. You do not need fixing. While we cannot go back and remove the trauma that we endured, we can find healing now in our present and live our best, authentic life!" - Sara

  • The Healing Power Of Your Drainage Pathways

    — This inability to get rid of waste and toxins - compounded by the detrimental effects of chronic stress, dehydration, and a lack of oxygen and nutrients - opens the door for sickness, disease, and other health problems to take root. This is why it's important to look at healing from a systemic level rather than just looking at all the symptoms you're experiencing. They might have a bunch of different names and diagnoses, but at the root of all your symptoms are unhealthy cells that don't have what they need to heal and thrive. Just because you're eating healthy, drinking lots of water, or taking supplements doesn't mean that those nutrients are getting into your cells. Why? Because the cell might be too toxic to accept them. If your cells are unable to absorb the nutrients, then those nutrients just pass right through you. Cells are only as healthy as the environment they live in. If you want to get well, you have to change the state of the environment within and around your cells. They cannot heal in the same environment that made them sick. In order for your cells to start healing, you've got to understand a few important principles. This is what this episode is about!

Valeria interviews Heather Creson — She is a Cellular Optimization Specialist who helps people regain their vitality and re-engage in life after experiencing debilitating health concerns.

Her goal is to help people break free from the conventional medical model of chasing symptoms and instead, get to the root cause of chronic health issues they may be facing. • Healing From Emotional Trauma In Relationships

    — "We either operate our lives from a place of fear or love. It alternates for some based on where they are in their process of growth...or journey in life. • The Breath Of Acceptance

    — Over the landscape of time, there is change.

    Change inherently includes loss.

People you love pass on from this life, or move away.

Loss can also be a chapter in your life ending and a new one beginning. Or it can be old ways of being giving way to new ones. When you are missing someone or something, give your heart space and time.

Whatever feeling is present, breathe into it. Let it be felt.

Maybe you cry. Maybe you feel angry. Maybe you laugh in remembrance of a joyful connection.

Whatever is felt in the moment, this is part of the richness of your love.

Grief exists because of love and connection.

Even when there's pain in a connection, its loss will be a grieving (and an opportunity to heal the pain).

Whatever is present in your heart, breathe into it and let it be felt. Breathe it out as a blessing, because what you're feeling is part of the richness of heart.

All the flavors of remembrance, loss, anger, sadness - whatever you are feeling - are part of the richness of your heart.

Valeria interviews Megumi Burr-Tolliver — She is a Vortexhealing® Divine Energy Healing Practitioner, Founder Of Compassion Tree Healing, Intentional Community Co-Founder, Writer, Teacher And Speaker.

An important stream in Megumi's life showed up in early childhood when she learned to only express in the range of "appropriate." Probably something of her expression had been too out of the box for others' comfort.

Growing up, she felt everyone was missing what mattered. But she didn't know what that was, and it wasn't in the range of what was appropriate to acknowledge.

As a teen, she knew she wanted to "understand others and myself" and "help others and myself." Her adult path gradually uncovered what that meant, as she developed feeling and knowing from within, and stepped into roles supporting others.

Another important stream came in as her dad, husband and mom passed. Megumi experiences life as inclusive of death, grief and remembering.

Megumi's unfolding path currently has her co-founding a small, land-based intentional community in Vermont. Her practice, Compassion Tree Healing, supports moms and nurturers who want to find their center and grounding, using highest-level tools from VortexHealing® Divine Energy Healing. She creates nurturing spaces where people anywhere in the world can be with themselves with compassion.

Leading up to this point, she supported pregnancy, postpartum and moms as Compassion Tree Mama Care, including as a massage therapist, birth and postpartum doula, and yoga and movement teacher. She has also co-led workshops and classes.

Megumi's current and next chapters involve cultivating deep listening and communication with self, others and land.

  • God Is Female! The Future Is Female!

    — "In my opinion, the problem with Christianity (and the Old Testament writings before Jesus) is that we have neglected our Mother Spirit, Sophia. She is clearly identified and discussed in the Bible but the writers and founders of Christianity (all men) have neglected to identify her as a centrical figure in our faith. Why were the early writers, the early Christian founders, and Christians of this day so offended by the idea of God being female? First, Western thinkers struggle with both/and. We like to compartmentalize everything into this box OR that box. We have a hard time understanding that God could be BOTH male and female. Ohhhh doesn't that come a little too close to identifying God as "gender fluid" and we don't like that one! But Eastern thinkers (Jesus, being one) easily embrace the idea of both/and. They easily recognize the yin and yang of most concepts in all things. This is called non-duality. They embrace the idea that two or more things can be true at the same time. Christians today like to think in the dualistic terms of either/or. Everything is either holy or evil. Right or wrong. Bad or good. Unfortunately for them, the Bible is a collection of non-dualistic concepts.

Second, early canon collectors saw women as weak. Let's face it. Men throughout history have seen women as weak. The fragile, too-emotional sex that must be dominated and ruled with a firm hand. Left to our own devices, we are too permissible, too mouthy, too inconsistent, too weak. I don't know about you but I often heard these words spoken about me or my sisters. So, God is described as a strong, male warrior. He provides for and protects his family. Great. But the problem with describing God as only male is that he too often jumps over to the toxic/extreme attributes of masculinity without the much-needed female characteristics.

Look around you. A lot of men are so deeply offended by the idea of balanced anima/animus energy. They cannot tolerate the idea that the softer, female characteristics of nurturing, protecting, and emotional attunement could possibly describe them or their God. So, we have an epidemic of toxically masculine men who refuse to recognize the female attributes of God and refuse to grow their own emotional intelligence.

Now, in fairness, I have noticed women taking this concept to the other extreme (remember, we are either/or thinkers). Some women have run with this concept and yelling out in the streets, "GOD IS FEMALE! THE FUTURE IS FEMALE!" without recognizing that God is both/and. Ladies, toxic femininity is also a thing.

So, how is all of this sitting with you? Do you find yourself angry or resistant to the idea of God being also female? Why? What do you think might happen if Christians began to embrace Mother God? Notice feelings that surface: anger, fear, dismissiveness?

What might happen to you if you became more receptive of the feminine attributes of God? How might this understanding of Scripture change you for the better?" ~ Brittney

Valeria interviews Dr. Brittney Doll — She is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist.

  • How To Reverse Any Serious Health Issue Naturally

    — The Simplicity of good health starts with understanding the simplicity of how we are wonderfully made. Everybody knows that our body is supposed to be about 85% water, and as a general rule of thumb, a person can only survive without water for about 3 days. Dehydration happens quickly, causing extreme thirst, fatigue, and ultimately, organ failure and death. A person may go from feeling thirsty and slightly sluggish on the first day with no water to having organ failure by the third day. But there is something that is just as important to our good health as staying hydrated. It's understanding, how we are wonderfully made and then living our life according to this knowledge. So here it is. Our body is an electrical chemical factory. Every cell in our body is made up of trillions of atoms. For this discussion, there are basically only to types of atoms. You have atoms that have a positive electrical charge to them which we will call, the demolition and clean up atoms. These atoms in the medical industry are called free-radical atoms. When there is an overload of free radical atoms in any of our cells, they can damage every molecule in our cells: our DNA, proteins, lipids, mitochondria and so on. To keep it simple, anything with a positive electrical charge to it is overloaded with free radical Atoms. The other type of atom that makes up each and every cell has a negative electrical charge to it, and the medical industry calls these atoms, Anti-oxidants. To keep it simple, anything with a negative electrical charge to it, is an anti-oxidant. Its anti-oxidant atoms that give every cell in your body the energy to function properly and repair any damage to your cells, tissues and organs. It is a fact, that all diseases start at the cell level, not at the organ or system level. Every cell in you body has to maintain a certain negative electrical charge to function properly. When free-radicals rob the electrons out of your healthy cells they no longer have the energy to function properly and disease and illness will set in. Wherever the weakest cells are in your body, this and this alone will actually determine what health condition that you get. It's really that simple. Learn more by listening to this episode!

Valeria interviews Philip Bresnahan — He is a Clinical Research Analyst.

18 years ago, he was rushed to the hospital with very high blood pressure. In that same year he was diagnosed with Cancer. Philip didn't to want to have a stroke and end up in a wheelchair not being able to feed himself. He also didn't want to get Cancer again and be given Chemo or radiation or die from the Cancer. So he spent the next 15 years being a Clinical Research Analyst, studying what had been discovered about the root cause of practically every disease known to mankind. Philip knows that when you treat the root cause of any disease, you are giving the body what it needs to repair itself as it was designed to do.

In his studies, he discovered the simplicity of how we are wonderfully made. In so doing, he also discovered the root cause of practically every disease known to mankind even Cancer. Philip now just wants to share this information with the world.
