This is your Quick Guide to Bagpipe Tunes. I'm anticipating that there will be two distinct camps among my listeners, those who love bagpipes and those who don't yet. But please give this a chance. First, this is fairly short, and there's not a single tune here that lasts more than 2 minutes. Second, I really do understand. I'm not naturally drawn to this music, I had to be invested in it first, through my chaplaincy work with the police department and through my ministry work performing funerals. And even through editing this episode, the tunes that all sounded the same at first, began to be distinct, and more than that, they became something that I found myself whistling as I went about my day. So I ask that you would give the bagpipes a chance, it really is possible for it to grow on you.

All music is performed by Jim Higgins for the Hey Chaplain podcast. Thanks to Eric Young for sound engineering.
