A Study in Sakuga

It's time to visit the desert dome as we enter the USJ arc of My Hero Academia. Holden and Lexi talk about Lexi's "vibes" theory of horror, seasonal watching habits, hero job economy, the glory of the Desert Dome, and are able to get to know fan favorite Class 1-A student Asui Tsuyu.

Welcome to the first ever Study in Sakuga Bonus episode. This was basically our pilot episode where we were figuring out format and testing audio setups, inside you can find talk of excessive property destruction, cool trench coats, evil water barons and Bugs Bunny

We are half way through My Hero Academia and the hits just keep coming! (literally for Deku) Lexi and Holden discuss their own theoretical quirks as well as the topical issue of Batman's sex life, Bakugo's superiority complex, sweat explosions, Iida's villain voice, impractical heels for heroes and All Might's questionable teaching methods.

Lexi and Holden are going to hero school finally! In this episode we talk about Ben Shapiro as Aizawa, how one for all is controlled by vibes, we do the pacer test with Iida and learn the identity of Lexi's most hated character in HeroAca. Special shout out to Holden who did the editing on this week as Lexi is having a real normal one this week.

Lexi and Holden are back at it with My Hero Academia. We are talking training montages, how big a nerd Iida is, Holden's new favorite character, UA's choice of inspirational quotes, and we get some questions from a listener for us to ponder.

The time has come for the tournament of generations. Lexi and Holden discuss the pivotal matchups between Toradora! and Yu-Yu Hakusho: Ghost Files, My Hero Academia and Great pretender, finally deciding which too shall duke it out to the last. Finally we shall learn which show will be covered by out intrepid sleuths for a full season and which ones shall have to wait to fight another day. This is the Tournament of Generations.

Lexi and Holden are heisting with the best of them as they watch watch the first two episodes of The Great Pretender, Lexi's favorite anime of last year. In our final episode before the Tournament Arc conclusion we talk con artists and the cons they do, the exquisite style of Great Pretender, Saul Bass, interesting uses of subs and dubs in the show, how to pronounce the name 'Laurent' and how anime protags seem to be underdogs.
