Dr. Sykes is an internationally recognized leader in equine gastric health and clinical research. A graduate of Murdoch University, he completed an internship at Randwick Equine Centre and a residency in equine internal medicine in Virginia. He also holds an MBA from the University of Liverpool and a PhD in veterinary pharmacology from the University of Queensland. Dr. Sykes is affiliated with Southern Cross University and is the owner of BW Sykes Consultancy, traveling worldwide as an invited speaker and consultant for high-performance equine cases.
