Joel Barnes is in his twenties. In a time when 75% of youth are walking away from the church, it’s critical that we give our youth a voice. In this first of two episodes, Joel shares his story, which includes nearly being murdered by drowning by a drunk man and his battles with pornography. Joel shares his experience in the church, including being shunned by other believers when he tried to reach out for help, and, watching as his 60 year old pastor had an inappropriate relationship with an 18 year old girl.
