New South Wales Police say a body found in the state's central west today is believed to be that of accused triple murderer Julian Ingram.

It was discovered beside an abandoned ute, 50 kilometres north-west of Lake Cargelligo in the New South Wales central west.

It's the same vehicle Ingram was seen leaving town in... after three people were shot dead in Lake Cargelligo in late January.

The 37-year-old former council gardener had been on the run since then.

A boy - who's believed to be around 11 or 12 years old - has been taken to Melbourne's Royal Children's Hospital with serious injuries after being trapped under a train carriage.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson says multiple emergency services were called to the North Melbourne train station this afternoon where the boy was found trapped under a carriage.

It took emergency services nearly an hour to free him.

Five Australians and a New Zealand citizen who were stuck on a hantavirus-stricken cruise ship are due to arrive in the country tomorrow on a government supported plane.

The five Australians - three from New South Wales and two from Queensland - will be taken directly to a quarantine facility at Bullsbrook, near Perth, once they arrive in Australia.

Health Minister Mark Butler says none of the Australians have displayed symptoms of hantavirus at this stage.

Australian passengers who were on board the hantavirus-hit cruise ship will be ordered to quarantine in Perth for at least three weeks, in what the federal government has declared a "precautionary approach" to keep the community safe.
