January 13 God Makes Himself Known Part 1
We’re traveling through Exodus one verse at a time in a study of God’s deliverance. God has a message for Pharoah, “Let my people go!”Well as you may know, Pharoah refused, and God would make Himself known by sending a series of plagues to get his attention and show His power over the false Egyptian gods. It’s foolish to fight against God, as you can’t win that battle.

January 12 El Shaddai the All-Sufficient One Part 2
Parents, I’m sure you’ve heard this a time or two from your kids, “I don’t want to do that!” It’s at that time we need to remind them that they’re to obey, even when they don’t feel like it right? As we turn to Exodus chapter six Moses is struggling with God’s calling on his life. In essence he’s saying, “I don’t want to do this God!” It’s a good reminder to us why we need to hear and obey the Lord in all things.

January 07 Let My People Go Part 1
Pastor Ed Taylor will be in Exodus chapter five, if you want to find your place there now. God has a message for Pharoah, “Let My People Go!” And he’s going to use Moses and Aaron to deliver it. Pharoah would reject the message, and pay dearly for it. But we also want to personalize this and ask ourselves, “Do we accept the Word of God when it comes to us?”

January 06 Excuses, Excuses Part 2b
Impressive qualifications and a great resume may land you a great job in this world of ours. But when it comes to being used by God, it’s really not needed. The Lord can and wants to use each of us, no matter what our background, or what our skill set may be. Question is, what has God called you to do, and are you doing it? Today on Abounding Grace we open our Bibles to Exodus chapter four. God had a calling on Moses’ life, but rather than accept it right away, he threw out quite a few excuses.

January 03 I Know a Man Who Visited Heaven Part 2
Today on Abounding Grace we’ll be encouraged to adopt a perspective modeled for us by the apostle Paul. He was humble, and just saw himself as a servant. He certainly didn’t want to draw attention to himself or receive the glory for what God did in and through his life. Pastor Ed Taylor opens Second Corinthians twelve, and urges us to live with that mindset.
