Matthew Hoy was killed in May of 1994. His remains were found inside of his mother's car that had been on fire. This suspicious death remains an open investigation today.

Tracy Kroh was 17 years old when she went missing on August 5, 1989. She lived in Millersburg, Pennsylvania, with her family, and was visiting her sister in Halifax on the night she went missing.

In recent years, new information and leads have been brought into the light.

In today's episode, we continue digging into the family of Corey edkin, the two year-old child who went missing in 1986. Last week, we talked about his grandmother, Myrle Miller who is awaiting trial for allegedly poisoning and killing her husband, John Nichols.

Also briefly mentioned in the last episode was a man by the name of Charles Burgess, who was killed in a New Jersey motel room in 1999. Why does this have anything to do with the cases we've been discussing? Burgess was in a relationship with Debbie Mowery, Corey Edkin's mother and Myrle Miller's daughter, at the time of his death.

Edkin's grandmother, Myrle Miller, has quite a reputation in terms of the crimes she has been accused of. The accusations and convictions span all the way back to 1986 when her two year-old grandson went missing.

Miller currently awaits trial for her most recent arrest in 2021. Will the January proceedings lead to new evidence in the case of Corey Edkin? What about other cases that seem to have connections?

Corey James Edkin was just two years-old when he went missing from his home in New Columbia, PA on October 13, 2986. For the past 36 years, state troopers have been investigating his disappearance.

Most recently, in 2020, they released a statement suggesting that they were making progress in the case and were hopeful for answers regarding the child's disappearance.

Edkin's grandmother, Myrle Miller currently awaits trial for allegedly poisoning and killing her husband.

Angel Donahue, from Sunbury, Pennsylvania, went missing in April of 2020. Her relatives report that they have not heard from her since this time. Her social media and bank accounts have all been inactive as well.

On September 20, 2022, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf signed House Bill 930 into law. This law requires that state police turn DNA samples of missing persons into NamUS, the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System.

This law could change the landscape of missing persons cases across the state.

Pennsylvania State Representative Lynda Schlegel Culver was contacted by Norma Jean Fritz, the mother of Jesse Farber, who went missing in 2015. This connection set the newly passed bill into motion.

Today, we hear from Representative Culver and Norma Jean Fritz about how they pushed for this law, the impacts that it will have, and where they hope it goes from here.
