At the ripe age of 21, Advait started his career in investment banking in the midst of the 2008 global financial meltdown. After almost five years of romanticising spreadsheets, Advait quit his job at a venture capital firm, yearning for greater adventures. One short film contest win and an iMac later, he co-founded Supari Studios with his younger brother.
    Advait is responsible for the growth and strategic direction of Kulfi Collective, a content network that produces branded and original content IPs for GenY & Gen Z South Asians across the globe. Over the years, Kulfi has collaborated with 200+ creators to produce 10,000+ minutes of content that has been viewed over 1.3 billion times for brands such as Red Bull, Netflix, Google, Spotify and Flipkart.

    Interestingly, Bharat’s first step as a serial entrepreneur dates back to 2006 when he developed an online business as a 16-year old. In 2012, he started PosterGully, an online platform for artists and designers to create, showcase and sell their work. The company enabled artists to contribute and merchandise unique prints/designs for products across different categories in India and abroad. The startup successfully raised over $200K from well-known angel investors and was later acquired in 2016. Started in 2018, Rage Coffee is the world’s first plant-based vitamins coffee brand.

    Our guest this week on the Aditi Surana show is 28-year-old Zoya Thomas Lobo from Mumbai, who, with her unshakeable determination, has has become India’s first trans photojournalist. From seeking alms in trains, doing odd jobs to clicking pictures for national and international publications, Zoya has risen after falling through the cracks.
    Based in Mumbai, Zoya grew up in a Christian community. She received convent education till class five, but dropped out at an early age. After her father's demise, Zoya and her family were forced to leave their home owing to a dispute and were forced to move in with her mother’s sister in Mahim, where Zoya spent most of her early years. She and her family had to move frequently. On her way to buy a violin, she stumbled upon a shop that sold used cameras. Zoya decided to give her passion a try.
    From landing a huge opportunity with the Canadian publication La Presse, turning a face model for Kay Beauty, and to being featured on Google India’s banners, Zoya Lobo says she still has a long way to go and looks forward to bigger achievements in the future.

    The bravest person we know.
    Our guest this week on The Aditi Surana show is Kolhapur-based computer engineer, Veeshwajeet Kashid, who is the most frequent platelets donor and the fourth most frequent AB-ve blood donor in the world. So far, he has donated platelets 183 times which means he has saved more than 183 lives. He has gone through 14 life-threatening Granulocyte transfusions, knowing the risk of getting Cancer in each transfusion.
    His efforts were also applauded by the central health ministry and he was awarded the title ‘Young Medical Scientist’. With this title, he became the first engineer to receive the award. Earlier only people from the medical fraternity have received the title.
    He also started the initiative ‘Blood Bank Tourism’ to promote platelet donation. He works selflessly to educate the youth on safe blood & platelets donation. He is the Goodwill Ambassador for Platelets Donation(India), an IIM TEDx Speaker and one of the bravest individuals we have come across.
