Inevitably, trials will come into our life. How we respond to them is what determines if we survive or not. So, how can we make it through those times where life is so heavy that we cannot see tomorrow?

This episode is a session from the North Florida Baptist Ladies Conference at Immanuel Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. This lesson was taught by our pastor's wife, Mrs Heather Neal. In this episode, Heather shares her personal testimony of surviving a myriad of life's storms—cancer, betrayal, and the death of her daughter. She gives Bible truths and Scripture that help to sustain her. Her message reminds listeners how not quitting will give us the opportunity to help others going through trials to also continue for Christ.

Perhaps one of the most well-known Baptist missionaries of all time is Adoniram Judson. While his lifelong ministry in Burma (now Myanmar) continues to have far-reaching, long-lasting effects, a less recognizable name is that of his wife, Ann.

In this episode, Tracie and Abigail discuss the life of Ann Judson, an all-American girl who literally gave her life for the souls of the people of Burma. In the days of the famous Fanny Crosby lived one lesser known hymn writer who wrote some of the most beloved hymns we still sing today. Her name may not garner the fanfare of some, but her words live on in our churches every Sunday when we open our hymnals to sing "When We All Get to Heaven," "More About Jesus," and many other soul-stirring songs!

She did not let poor health stop her from putting pen to paper over and over to write words that we sing over one hundred years later. Perhaps, this orphan girl never thought that a chance meeting of the handsome Sunday School teacher would put her life on a trajectory that would result in an entire island coming to know Christ!
