This is my latest discovery that I wanted to share with y'all about my continual people pleasing.  It's a pretty big one about why we people please, how it's not rooted in what you think, and how to get ahold of it and stop it in it's tracks.   And, in an effort to do what's most important in my life, which is my focus on my family and being really really present with them, I'm taking the summer off from recording the podcast.   I have loved this experience and all of your wonderful support so much, and I realize that I need to take a break from all the work involved in recording, editing and producing a podcast all by myself.  I have so many amazing topics, interviews and fun things planned for the fall, but the important thing for now is to really spend time with my family and son before he goes off to college in a month.  I can't wait to come back recharged with even more amazing topics and interviews to entertain you and make you laugh.  I am so very honored to have had this time with y'all and can't wait to see what fun we can come up with after the summer is over.  So, have a great one with your families and I'll talk to you really soon!!  Love, Aimee

This one is a real life quickie about our week of viruses and cancelled grad parties and other fun stuff last week.  Just a little overview of what I think and mull over when life throws you a curve ball.  This happened to us last week in spades and I'm still recovering from one of the viruses but it was such a lesson in rolling with the punches and moving on.

Part 2 of ace-ing your simplicity.  Had way too many things to share and I know you don't want to hear a 2 hour podcast about simplicity!  So here you go!

Fave thing 1:  Banana Pancake recipe: 

                     1 banana

                     2 eggs

                     1 pinch of baking soda

Mix and put on hot grill with coconut oil spray.  Serve with 1/3 cups of nonfat greek yogurt mixed with dash of cinnamon and stevia and fresh raspberries.  Enjoy!

Yesterday I had an amazing experience with a mentor of mine, and I wanted to share it with you.  I was so nervous and intimidated by this person that I almost called it off, and what was on the other side of me pushing through my fear was so good that I felt compelled to share it with you.  Just a little real life quickie about overcoming your fear, pushing through, and seeing and savoring the beauty of what's on the other side.  Enjoy!

This is one I recorded this week now that all the college stuff is really amping up.  I know I'm starting to feel a little bit of panic set in that we only have a few weeks left before the seniors graduate from high school.  Even though I've already been through this once, it doesn't get any easier.  Luckily over the last three years I've put together some tools and good nuggets I've learned from all my village of buddies on how to get through this transition without completely losing it.  So, this is for all you mama's who have babies about to graduate soon.  Or even with any age kids who are moving on.  My youngest is going to graduate from middle and school and starting high school in the fall.  So lots of change all over the place!  This can be a scary time, but also so many fun things to look forward to.  Just trying to stay in the present and soak up all the hugs and good times possible.
