Heat to simmering over medium heat, stirring occasionally.”–directions on a can of beef stew. “To leave a message, press 2 or wait until the beep, to leave a call back number, press 5…for more options…or stay on the line….”–part of the inane eternal “blah blah” we are all subjected to in order to leave a phone message.

On the other hand consider the directions on a marriage license, birth certificate, and high school or university diploma–none at all. Everything we do, from changing a tire to using a blender, has directions. Surprisingly lots of the big issues in life seem to arrive with no instructions at all. Even talking to God through prayer has instructions, which most people don’t follow! In this show we’ll talk about directions, instructions, whether or not you should follow them, and how to follow them to make your life a fantastic success.
