"The Runaways" is a choral documentary in three movements about the experience of confinement by several female minors judged as delinquents. They recount in situ their time in IPPJ (Public Institute for Youth Protection). Speech is raw, thoughts unfold, time thickens. Through their experiences and sharing, a deep and complex reflection on youth protection and repression systems gradually weaves throughout the piece.

She addresses her letter to the radio programme where he used to analyse dreams, in 1938. In a world that frightens her, she turns to the poet for refuge. A century earlier, in Paris, Robert Desnos, in the company of the Surrealists, engages in hypnotic slumbers during which he utters poems and prophecies. Slowly times change, charged with anguish. The poet seems to sense the presence of an apparition, a voice from afar. An immortal narrator recounts this unlikely encounter.

When the first body of a wild boar to die of African swine fever was found on Belgian soil in 2018, life changed for Guy and the hunters in Breux. This small French village of 300 inhabitants, close to the Belgian border, is in the "white zone". In this area, the French government has ordered local hunters to eradicate the wild boar population to limit the risk of the virus spreading. "We've gone from hunters to killers", Guy laments.

It all starts with this café on my street corner. It made headlines around the world in November 2015. Overnight, a finger was pointed at our Molenbeek neighborhood.

After the shock, residents mobilized to transform the café into a community center. I joined in and went out to meet the neighbors. Knocking on doors, I penetrate the memories of this area.

Souls, smiles and children's songs emerge from the cracks. Stories inscribed in the ground echo beneath my feet. It's a damaged neighborhood where we're trying to repair ourselves to stand tall, together.

One day, a chemist realizes she can hear certain atoms. As she befriends two of them, her curiosity grows : what are relationships between human beings and objects made of? What is it like to be an atom, to be extracted, exploited? What hierarchies underlie the kingdom of matter?

She takes her atom friends for a walk in an abandoned coal factory in the suburbs of Charleroi. What better place than the ruins of the first industrial revolution to allude to the fourth?

At the intersection between two worlds usually considered apart – animism and natural sciences, this fiction is an intimate encounter with the atoms, disclosing their billion unheard tales. A slide into cosmic dampness. Into a world that is enlightening when we are close to it, dark when we destroy it.
