Action for Everyone

The Boys tackle Ryan Reynolds: The Movie aka The Adam Project, Liam recaps the DGA awards, Vyce sings the praises of Lost Bullet, Liam nad Vyce give Tenet some love, and Mike has his spirit broken by Invincible.

It's Vyce's birthday and for some reason he decided to spend it with us. It was worth though because the boys are joined by the ever brilliant Scott Mendelson from Forbes. We talk the Bullet Train trailer, spend a lot of time on a spoiler filled discussion of The Batman, before trying to answer why the action in most comic book movies is so uninteresting.

Trigger warnings: The boys talk PTSD, war, anxiety, sexual and domestic assault. Nothing too graphic but we understand if you want to take a pass on this one.

The boys talk Dog, the films of Steven Spielberg, Vyce's military history and more.

Donate to a trans support org and send us your receipt and we'll pick three winners to cover a movie of their choice!

The boys talk the new Wu Assassins movie Fistful of Vengeance before going deep on both big punchy white boys, Reacher and Peacemaker.

It's the big game spectacular! The boys are joined but Film Twitter Darling and CERTIFIED HUNK Brandon Streussnig to talk about the trailer for Nope, JCVD's last action movie, Kimi, The Book of Boba Fett and The Battle of Lake Changjin 2.

The boys start by reiterating that Action IS for everyone. They then get into the Netflix 2022 trailer, Moonfall, Jackass Forever, location scouting Liam's new film, and touch briefly on Reacher.

We're missing Liam this week but he still gives you all love for the LiamforMK2 movement and left us with a special message. But Mike and Vyce are joined by a more than adequate (MIke might even say better) replacement with the godfather of action cinema writing Outlaw Vern. The boys talk Clean, The 355, the new Masters of the Universe and Tiger Claws, and how Vinegar Syndrome, MVD and others are creating amazing physical releases of 90's action classics

The boys are joined by the almighty Stefano De La Cuesta. Stefano talks what Zack Snyder's movies have meant to them as a queer, trans fan of action and how they helped them understand their sexuality and gender. Then Liam pitches his idea for a Conan reboot, and finally we all talk Wu Assassins and Fistful of Vengeance.

The hardest working woman in podcasting joins the lads for a variety of topics. They talk remakes, including The Tragedy of Macbeth, the trailers for Invincible and Kung-Fu Zohra, Liam watched Ninja 2 and Snake-Eyes, and they talk about the awesomeness that is Michael Jai White.

The boys start off by thanking Julien Rico Jr. for the amazing new artwork and Ram Khat for the amazing new theme. Then they tackle the new Liam Neesons trailer Blacklight, Liam talks seeing Wrath of Man, and then Vyce takes the lead to discuss how the January dumping ground is just no longer true and January movies do in fact rule.
