Reviews weren't kind 25 years ago, but this is still a film directed by Steven Speilberg. With an impressive cast, does Lost World deserve a shot to make it into the Action Movie Hall of Fame, or is it safest for everyone if it's kept away from the rest of the world?

With expectations with this movie though the roof (but REALLY shouldn't be any lower than 5,000 feet) could Maverick possibly live up to expectations? Or is the movie entering a dangerous zone for overdue movie sequels? 

36 years before the release of Top Gun: Maverick was the original: 1986's Top Gun.  Dereck and Matt will be doing a review of Maverick next week. So this week, the revisit the original. The music. The hair. The volleyball. The sweating. Will the dated nature of this movie cause it to crash and burn like unseen jet-wash as it attempts to make it to the Action Movie Hall of Fame - or will it prove to be one of the best, and ascend to the Hall.

This week we stay in the Horror Action genre with 2002's Resident Evil. Does this franchise led by Mila Jovovich have what it take to make it to the Action Movie Hall of Fame? Or is it destined to be stuck underground and never see the light of day again?

This week, Derrek and Matt go back to 1997, but stay in the Alien universe by watching the Alien: Resurrection - the sequel to Alien 3. A3 was denied access to the Action Movie Hall of Fame. But will this improved effort find new life in the AMHOF, or will be set ablaze due to it's imperfections?

Alien was a horror masterpiece. Aliens was inducted into the Action Movie Hall of Fame. Does Alien 3 continue the proud Alien tradition, or will it meet a classic death of being dipped in lead, then exploded with a somehow-still-working sprinkler system?
