All limitations are self-imposed. They are often disguised as the harmless-looking word “but”.  New thought author Emmet Fox describes it perfectly, “Students of the teaching of Jesus Christ who would not be deceived by any of the familiar devices, constantly surrender their principles, and therefore their demonstration, to the little word “but”.
