October 17 Whalefall Review - I Got Wet
Whalefall Review - Some has a case of the Mondays. His name is Jay Gardiner and he is currently trapped inside a giant Sperm Whale. Whalefall is an intense survival film, featuring that dude from the new Resident Evil. Austin Abrams is having a good run lately with Whalefall being my favorite of his recent films!

October 17 Street Fighter Review - Hurts So Good?
Street Fighter (2026) Movie Review - Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and all the Street Fighter favorites return to the big screen for another round. The 2026 Street Fighter is loud, colorful, silly and all-around nonsensical. That approach will work for some but the lack of focused story will definitely turn many off. It's an entertaining disaster, full of fun action and plenty of video game nods.

October 17 Other Mommy Explained - What A Mess!
Other Mommy Explained - Join me for another glorious movie recap. This time, I take on Other Mommy. This film had potential but ended up a total disaster. Jessica Chastain couldn't act her way through this terrible script. I break down Other Mommy from beginning to end in this spoiler recap.

October 13 You Can See Everything Review - A43 Does It Again!
You Can See Everything Movie Review - A24 is back with a huge, 3 hour documentary on Elizabeth Holmes. It almost seems like a disservice to merely call this a "documentary" because it operates as so much more.
You Can See Everything was directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim and stars Elizabeth Holmes and Billy Evans as themselves.

October 13 Matchbox The Movie Review - Just Why?
Matchbox The Movie Review - Look out Barbie! A brand new toy-to-movie is out on Apple+ and this one is about Matchbox cars! So... yeah. Why? Who thought this was a good idea? Matchbox the Movie has about as much to do with Matchbox toy cars as The Departed as to do with Pez dispensers. Matchbox the Movie is about a group of kids (called the Matchbox gang) that grow up to be spies. It's really dumb.
Matchbox the Movie is directed by Sam Hargrave and stars John Cena, Jessica Biel, Arturo Castro, Sam Richardson, Teyonah Parris and Danai Gurira.

October 13 Animals Review - Netlix Got Ben Affleck
Animals Movie Review - Netflix has another exclusive by a great director. Ben Affleck has turned to the dark side and crafted a stream slop film called "Animals". The guy who recently directed great films like Argo, The Town and Air is now putting out low-effort Netflix junk. What a waste of a great talent.
Animals is directed by Ben Affleck and stars Ben Affleck, Kerry Washington, Gillian Anderson and Steven Yeun.

October 11 The Social Reckoning Review - That Was Depressing
The Social Reckoning Movie Review - Mark Zuckerberg gets another movie! This time, it's not so fun. The Social Network was a highly praised film that gives insight into the young man that would inevitably build an empire. In the sequel, he's in full villain mode as a young Facebook employee tries to keep the company from ruining the lives of countless users. We've come a long way since Hot or Not.
The Social Reckoning was written and directed by Aaron Sorkin and stars Jeremy Strong, Mikey Madison and Jeremy Allen White.

October 09 Lanterns Review - DCU Needed This!
The Lanterns Season Review - I finished the first full season of The Lanterns series on HBO Max and wanted to give you my thoughts. The show follows John Stewart and Lantern legend Hal Jordan and has more of a True Detective feel than a Superman one.
The Lanterns stars Kyle Chandler, Aaron Pierre and Kelly Macdonald.
