In the first hour of today’s show, Adam discussed teachers not being required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in B.C. schools.
Adam spoke with Craig Jones, Department of Geography at the University of British Columbia, research coordinator for the UBC Housing Research Collaborative, about a report that looks into evictions across the country. The report found that over 10 per cent of renters in B.C. report being evicted, the highest percentage in Canada.
Last year only 18 cases of influenza were detected in BC, likely due to COVID-19 restrictions in place at the time. Dr. Ran Goldman, pediatrician and UBC professor of pediatrics, joined Adam to talk about how people can prepare for a more impactful flu season this year.
