Bike-on was founded in 1999 by Scott Pellett in Coventry Rhode Island . Scott was injured in an accident as a teenager and was adamant about helping folks of every ability get outside and enjoy adaptive cycling ! Starting in his garage , he began one of the first online adaptive sports companies to provide mobility equipment and Expert guidance through his personal experience being an adaptive athlete since the 70's . Bike-on became a success , and needed to expand quickly ! Working with his wife Lynn , son Dan , and bringing on childhood friend Chris Coyne , they developed a network of inclusive cycling nationwide and have grown to become one of the largest adaptive cycling companies in the world ! 

Scott and wife Lynn are Happily retired and enjoying cycling down in Florida , but the bike-on is continuing their legacy with new owners Dan Pellett , and Chris Coyne . Coming from a small staff , bike on has grown to more than 20 employees with reps nationwide to serve the community . 

Bike-on is not only our name , but our mission! Everyone deserves to be able to feel the wind in their hair , see nature's beauty , and have a healthy activity they can enjoy with friends and family in an inclusive environment .
