This week Denise talks about what happens to those left behind when a loved one, who has had problems with addiction and brings lots of chaos and drama into the family, suddenly dies. Dr. Kristina Diener, a therapist from Los Angeles, who specializes in trauma, divorce, teens and children, gives her insight into this type of event.
The discussion focuses on families in general but uses the family of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown as a model, not role model.
Although we don’t know first hand how her family, mom Cissy Houston, cousin Dionne Warwick, and God Mother Aretha Franklin will be grieving and coping, Denise and Dr. Diener speculate on the impending grieving process for Bobbi Kristina, Whitney Houston’s 18 year old daughter and what the possibilities might be.
