I was speaking to my friend Mary who had just finished her education to become a certified addiction counselor here in California. I found myself asking a lot of questions about things I really wasn’t familiar with. So, I thought, if I have these questions maybe there are a lot of others who might have them too. This week my show is an interview with Mary who will be answering questions from her own perspective as someone who just got out of school but also has other experience to share with us. Listen and hear some of the important questions we can ask when we are looking for treatment for our loved ones. Feel better about having some knowledge to ask the right questions.

AndroidRSSI would like to suggest again that those of you who know someone trying to cope with addiction in their world with loved ones or friends, co workers, etc. think about giving my book,SWEAT, to them so they can begin to learn simple tools to center themselves and, as my book says, “keep their hearts intact while loving an addict”. Just making a few simple changes and looking at some things from a different perspective can make a world of difference in daily life with an addict. Or, of course, if you might need it yourself, please consider reading it.
