Addicted to the Mouse Episode 8

Today in the show, Leslie and I talk all about our the best Disney World snacks, quick-service, and table-service places to eat at Walt Disney World.  Figuring out the differences in the dining plans is one thing, but then when you look at all the choices on where to use them it can become overwhelming.  In this episode, we go through all four parks, the resorts, and Disney Springs and each choose our favorite uses for dining plan credits.  We also have several honorable mentions that had to make the list as well.  I mean, come on…it’s so hard to narrow it down!!

In this episode of Addicted to the Mouse Podcast, Leslie and I explain all about Disney Dining Plans.  Disney dining can be a little intimidating.  First, understanding which dining plans are a good value for you is tough enough.  Then, knowing which restaurants to book first, when to book them, and how to choose a dining plan is important.  Today, we discuss the dining plan prices, their differences, and strategies for getting the best value.  Then, we explain why we’ve chosen to use them in the past.  Finally, we talk about the other types of dining discounts you can get at Disney World.  We use these discounts when we don’t get a dining plan.  We hope this helps you make your dining decision on your magical vacation!  Let us know if you have any questions and we would love to hear your dining strategies.

Today, in this longer episode of Addicted to the Mouse, we pick up our Disney Cruise trip report with the second half of our most recent Disney vacation.  This episode will cover the Disney World trip report for this past Spring Break.  After we get off of the ship, we head to Animal Kingdom for half a day of fun with rides (and a great meal at Yak & Yeti).  Then, we go to Disney Springs and try out the new Paddlefish restaurant.  Next, the following two days are all about Epcot and Magic Kingdom.  Finally, for our last day in Orlando, we try Garden Grill before starting the long drive back home.

We had so much fun on this vacation, which was different than how we usually do Disney.  To begin, the cruise at the beginning was a great way to break up going to the parks every day.  However, we both added more weight than we normally do with not much movement and all-you-care-to-eat meals!  At the end, Disney World did not disappoint.  We tried several new things, as we always try to do.  If you have any suggestions to how we do Disney or questions we can answer for you, please let us know.
